The portrait procedure begins with viewing the artist’s portfolio and expressing to the artist your thoughts about the person you’re having painted. This is the time to discuss clothing choices, photography location, where the painting will hang, and other preferences.
A photography session is then scheduled at which time a large number of photographs of the subject will be taken.
The photographs will be given to you so that you can choose the one from which you would like the artist to paint. She’ll be glad to assist you through this part of the process, if you desire.
It is now that you have the pleasure of relaxing as your subject is brought to life with paints and brushes on canvas.
All oil portraits are painted on Belgian Linen. Watercolor portraits are painted on archival mould-made paper with natural cotton fibers.
Please contact the artist to request information about portrait fees, workshops, or if you have other questions or comments about her work.
